The Volkswagen Foundation supports the so-called “Diversa Presencial” project, conceived and developed by the Rodrigo Mendes Institute. The objective of this training is to build and expand the repertoire of male and female educators in state school systems, changing teaching strategies and the teaching systems themselves. The focus in on ensuring that all children, without exception, have the right to education.
The method addresses the growing demand for training programs, considering different educational backgrounds and it is based on collaborative work. The initiative combines, in the same space, representatives of the Secretaries of Education, school administrators, common classroom teachers and specialized educational assistance. The idea is that, together, they organize strategies based on real and challenging cases chosen by the participants themselves.
